How do I measure my gutters for ordering?
We require 3 measurements and the shape: Quad, Round or Square.
A is the inner vertical height of the gutter.
B is the horizontal measurement.
C is the outer vertical height of the gutter.

Does GuttaFilta" come with a warranty?
GuttaFilta" comes with a 7 year product warranty and we also offer a 12 month money back satisfaction guarantee subject to the following conditions.

2: Limited to original cost of product.
3: Where a valid and authenticated claim is made by a consumer pursuant to a twelve month money-back warranty, arising from manufacturing defect in the Product, the Retail Price (exclusive of installation and/or cleaning costs). Provided that in no case will the Suppliers liability for the cost of repairing the Product or replacing it exceeded the Retail Price.

Do birds, rats, insects, or other small animals harm the foam?
1: It has been the experience in the USA that GuttaFilta" appears to repel vermin.
2: GuttaFilta" also has an anti microbial additive which prevents algae and mould developing and GuttaFilta", by way it is formed and fits into the gutter, also assists with mosquito control. GuttaFilta inhibits the development of larvae by keeping the mosquitoes away from any water build up.
3: GuttaFilta" takes up most of the gap between your roof line and your gutter assisting to block off the cavity where vermin gain access to your roof space.
4: We do not guarantee Guttafilta" to be impervious to birds, insects and small animals. It will deter them but not necessarily stop them completely.
When it rains does the filter become too saturated, to a point where it becomes heavy and the added weight can possibly bring down or compromise the gutters themselves?
GuttaFilta" only retains a small % of the water that passes through it and that for only a short period before it dries - its much too porous to hold significant water weight. When gutters sag or collapse its usually from the weight of water and debris trapped in the gutters because of clogging. GuttaFilta" is 98%(approx) air and, therefore, is very light even when a small % of water is retained.
Will GuttaFilta" Affect My Roof?
GuttaFilta" is preferred by Roofing Contractors because it needs no damaging nails, screws or messy tapes to hold it in place and it wont void your roof warranty. It allows homeowners to gain easy access to their gutters without destroying their gutter protection or damaging their roofs.
What happens if I am not happy with the performance of the GuttaFilta" product after it has been fitted?

Does water in the gutter run over during heavy rainfall?
We will not guarantee your gutters won't overflow during heavy down pours. Much depends on the pitch of the roof, the volume of rainfall, the size of your gutter in relation to the catchment area of your roof and the efficiency of your down pipes. Generally, because GuttaFilta" keeps your gutters clear of debris, your gutters are far less likely to overflow with GuttaFilta" than without it.
Does GuttaFilta" need to be cleaned?
Regular maintenance may assist the efficiency GuttaFilta" and GuttaFilta" Valley and will greatly reduce the need for messy gutter cleaning. Leaves will gather on top of the GuttaFilta" and GuttaFilta" Valley and these may need to be removed periodically for GuttaFilta" and GuttaFilta" Valley to work at maximum efficiency. Having said that indications are that some build up will not affect the performance of GuttaFilta. We recommend you cast a regular eye over the GuttaFilta and, if it is showing signs of clogging, that you take the precaution of removing the GuttaFilta" and GuttaFilta" Valley by blowing the leaves off, or hosing them off. In some instances you may need to remove the GuttaFilta and shake out the gathered debris. Experience to this point in time suggests that there is no reason to have to shake the foam out simply blow leaves etc. off the gutter filter as needed - more regular if in a high leaf fall area. GuttaFilta" and GuttaFilta" Valley can be hosed and will dry quickly in full sunlight. In areas where GuttaFilta" and GuttaFilta" Valley do not get sustained sunlight it will take longer to dry.
Can strong winds blow GuttaFilta" out of the gutter?
If the correct GuttaFilta" shape is fitted to your gutter and is fitted correctly, GuttaFilta" will not blow out of your gutters in strong winds.

Can I do it myself?
GuttaFilta" can be fitted DIY - or we can arrange installation. If you choose to DIY - simply advise us of the measurements of your gutter, the shape of your gutter and the metres you require. What if I collect Rainwater in a tank that I also use for drinking purposes?
Water, after passing through GuttaFilta, has undergone rigorous testing against the National Health and Medical Research Councils Australian Drinking Water Guidelines 2011 (ADWG); the Australian and New Zealand Environment and Conservation
Council (ANZECC) Guidelines for Fresh and Marine Water Supply; and World Health Organisation (WHO) Guidelines for Drinking Water 2011, 4th Edition.
The tests show that GuttaFilta has zero negative effect on water tested. If the water is suitable for drinking prior to passing through GuttaFilta it will be suitable after passing through it (provided the receiving receptacle
(such as a tank etc) isnt contaminated). Tests show that GuttaFilta adds nothing to water that will contaminate it. Having said that we offer the following advice.
Its a great idea to collect Rainwater in a tank, as it can be most easily and cheaply used for non-drinking purposes. About 25% of a homes water use is for toilet flushing, 20% for clothes washing and another 20% is used on the garden.

If you want to also use the Rainwater for drinking purposes, GuttaFilta" water samples are tested and are compliant with the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines 2011 health limits and World Health Organization adopted guidelines for
heavy metals, TPH and Total Phosphorous and as such is suitable for human consumption. Remember that the responsibility of ensuring that your tank water is safe lies with you! Please stipulate for tank water when ordering.
Our advice, because GuttaFilta" is designed to keep your gutters clear of debris and not free of pollutants or other impurities, is not to use tank water for drinking purposes until you have had professional advice. Carbon filters
designed for untreated water are generally recommended - as a MINIMUM..
To further alleviate any potential contaminant issues we recommend that, after fitting GuttaFilta" disconnect the downpipes connected to your water tank and allow the first 25mm of rainfall to flush through the rainwater collection
system. Do not initially collect the water (a first flush so to speak).
